Dr. Luminita Simion Labusca (invited speaker)
“Dear Academician Maya Simionescu, Dear Professor Dana Jianu. Dear Professor Anca Streinu-Cercel,
It was an honor and a pleasure to participate to the Second Congress “A Challenge of the 21st Century: regenerative medicine-research and clinical applications” organized by The International Society of Regenerative Medicine and Surgery (ISRMS) 16-17 th June 2017 in Bucharest. I am grateful to organizing committee for inviting me to be a part of this successful meeting and express my hope we could make possible future collaboration. The enthusiasm, passion, dedication and effort invested by organizers in putting together this unique event is only paralleled by their commitment to translating sound research in meaningful therapeutic solution to be available in the clinic in the near future.
The pre congress course represented an important educational event meant to expose participants to basic principles and skills required for basic and translational research in the field. The high scientific quality of the podium talks, the insight full discussion sessions and the networking events represented as many modalities of sharing experience and interest. A multitude of research ideas and Results intertwined, coming from basic and translational heart, bone, pancreatic is lets tissue engineering, adipose derived stem cells therapy, orthobiologics, pharmacology, offering participants a complex experience and a chance for broadening horizon. The multinational and multicultural perspective further contributed to enriching participant experience. An impressive amount of young researchers attended the congress, proving the congress is attaining its goal I n educating and motivating further generation to contribute to the goal of enabling regenerative based therapies. It is my deepest hope that scientific events as well as the life of ISRMS association can only grow stronger contributing to forwarding regenerative medicine goals. Encouraging scientific based practice and promoting it in front of regulatory forums will put this generous concept where it belongs, in service to global health prevention and care for the benefit of humankind. I congratulate the organizers for making possible the Second ISRMS congress and am grateful I have been given the occasion to become a part of it. Sincerely yours. Dr. Luminita Simion Labusca”
